The London Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) is the public body responsible for ensuring delivery of the new venues and infrastructure for the Games and the legacy that will follow. The ODA was established by the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act, which received Royal Assent in March 2006.
The ODA has embarked on an ambitious programme to implement both Financials and HR within a very compressed timescale and iTrain were selected to support the change management and training needs associated with this major project incorporating training workshops and Stratus eLearning delivery and development.
iTrain supported the creation of the ODA team by providing a full business support programme and have an ongoing contract to support the programme until the completion of the games in 2012. iTrain developed a range of change management and training programmes that involved the initial greenfield development of all Finance and HR processes for the organisation – designed to cater to 100,000 HR users by the time of the games.
Our tailored classroom and Stratus eLearning training continues to help ODA staff establish and identify business practices that have taken the ODA from infancy to a major organisation within a matter of years. The initial release took 1 month from inception to rollout incorporating full Stratus eLearning development. iTrain also offers the ODA online support and full business hours telephone support with 24/7 systems support.
