iTrain Consulting was responsible for the controlled delivery of the entire Oracle 11i Financials end user training programme for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Oracle Projects, Time Recoding and Costing, and iProcurement to the entire council including Schools.

The training programme was organised and delivered over a two year programme from 2003-2005 and we worked directly with the Council’s rollout team to support and deliver the entire end to end business training programme. iTrain developed bespoke Stratus eLearning modules for iProcurement and General Ledger to provide continued training support beyond 2005.

Enabling Change

iTrain was specifically responsible for the 11i training rollout at Cheshire County Council, which was a 2 year change management project for the implementation of Oracle Financials across the council. This assignment involved the development of materials and delivery programmes liaising with council functional staff and the subsequent management and delivery of 11i training programmes across the Finance and HRMS teams.

We assisted business process owners in developing new processes, preparing user documentation, delivering training with Stratus across the full Financials 11i range of modules, and providing post-implementation support. We also supported the development team through the delivery of expert training at the Chester and Winsford Council sites by working directly with the most senior staff within the IT and finance council departments.

iTrain also supported and assisted the development of new programmes and processes for the council to manage the development and rollout of the associated business management, change management, and ongoing training required to support the programmes across the council and county.
